Instead, we capture a precise digital scan of your teeth that is converted into a highly accurate 3D model.

Digital Scanning with iTero Technology
Digital scanning with iTero technology provides a faster, more comfortable, and highly detailed experience from the start of treatment. Unlike traditional impressions, the scan captures a full-color, real-time 3D model of your teeth and bite without the need for impression material.
Our office utilizes the latest iTero Lumina scanner, which includes Near-Infrared Imaging (NIRI) technology. This radiation-free imaging system can sometimes detect areas between teeth that may indicate early decay or other concerns not easily visible during a standard visual exam. When needed, this allows us to coordinate with your general dentist for further evaluation before orthodontic treatment begins, helping ensure your oral health is fully supported throughout the process.
